Most marketing awards celebrate campaigns. Some recognize creativity. Others recognize results. This one was different.

The B2B Marketing Elevation Award for Best Agency–Client Collaboration recognizes something far more difficult to achieve: two organizations working so closely together that the distinction between client and agency begins to disappear. That's why this recognition means so much to us.

It wasn't awarded for a single campaign or a single initiative. It recognized more than twelve years of shared ownership, mutual trust, continuous innovation, and a belief that the best business outcomes are created with clients—not for them.

A Different Kind of Agency Relationship

Traditional agency relationships are built around deliverables. The client defines the work. The agency executes it. Success is measured by what the agency produces. We have always believed there's a better way.

At TrueVoice, our objective has never been to become an extension of a marketing department. Our objective is to become an extension of a client's growth organization.

That changes everything. Business priorities are defined together. Audience insights are interpreted together. Performance is reviewed together. Success belongs to both organizations.

The goal isn't to build dependency. It's to build capability. That philosophy has guided our partnership with Humana for more than a decade.

More Than Campaigns

When our relationship with Humana began, the challenge wasn't simply to improve marketing performance. Like many enterprise organizations, Humana was navigating increasingly complex buying journeys, multiple influential audiences, evolving business priorities, and growing expectations for marketing accountability.

No single campaign could solve those challenges. What was required was a better way for marketing, sales, analytics, leadership, and agency partners to work together around common business objectives. That became the foundation of our partnership.

Why the Framework Exists

People often ask about the TrueVoice Growth Framework. It's important to understand why it was created. It wasn't designed to produce better campaigns. It was designed to make better collaboration possible.

The framework gives organizations a common way to understand audiences, align priorities, establish shared metrics, experiment continuously, and make better decisions together.

Audience ACCESS™, our proprietary audience intelligence capability, plays an important role in that process. Powered by AI and billions of behavioral signals, it helps organizations understand not only who influences growth, but how those audiences discover information, build trust, and make decisions.

But audience intelligence alone doesn't create growth. People do. Technology matters. Data matters. Strategy matters. None of them replace collaboration.

Building Capability, Not Dependence

Perhaps the greatest difference between traditional agencies and TrueVoice is how we define success.

We don't measure success by the number of campaigns we deliver. We measure success by the capabilities we help our clients build.

Over twelve years, Humana continuously strengthened the way marketing aligned with sales, leveraged audience intelligence, measured performance, tested new ideas, and supported enterprise growth.

The organization became more agile. More audience centric. More data informed. That's exactly what we hoped would happen. Because our goal has never been to make ourselves indispensable. It's to help our clients become stronger.

Why This Award Matters

The judges didn't recognize a campaign. They recognized a relationship. They recognized a partnership built on shared ownership, trust, communication, transparency, and measurable business impact.

For us, that's incredibly meaningful because collaboration isn't simply part of how we work. It's why TrueVoice exists.

Our Growth Framework exists to help organizations move beyond the traditional client-agency model and create something far more valuable: a partnership where ideas are co-created, decisions are shared, capabilities are strengthened, and success belongs equally to both organizations.

After twelve years, that's exactly what Humana and TrueVoice built together. The award simply recognized it.
